Ticket, Please. alright, blog time again. i watched a really good movie recently, called "Waltz with Bashir". it has to be one of the best movies I've seen in a long time, and i highly suggest it to anyone who doesn't mind reading subtitles. it's a documentary, and it's in Hebrew, but it has some stunning animation. it's actually a thrilling story about how the mind works, and it's got a bit of comedy thrown in there for good measure. the story begins when the director keeps having dreams of a pack of dogs chasing people through the streets trying to find him, and he can't seem to remember any details from when he participated in the invasion of Lebanon, and he talks to a psychiatrist to find out why he's having the dreams; which in turn leads to an interesting point in the movie. they talk of experiments where a group of people were shown 9 photos from their childhood, and one of them was a fake. they had been photoshopped into the picture, and even though it wasn't real, the human mind wants a complete picture, so these people were remembering a completely fabricated experience.
it really gets much deeper than that throughout the movie, but i have to say it's way epic.
